Although many music and dance venues cater to all tastes, Almagro is a stronghold of tango. During his last years, composer and bandleader Osvaldo Pugliese relocated to Almagro and oversaw the creation of the Casa del Tango (Tango House) complex on Guardia Vieja street.
Among Almagro\'s residents of note were boxer Luis Angel Firpo, poet Alfonsina Storni, and physician and politician Juan B. Justo.

Vine a Buenos Aires para estudiar tango. El departamento de Adriana está perfectamente ubicado para que camine al estudio de mi instructor principal, y con excelente servicio de colectivo para ir a Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo...casi cualquier lugar en la Ciudad. Esta a 50 pasos de la Avenida Corrientes y el subte B. La habitación tiene WiFi, placards, un escritorio, y una cama muy cómoda, con buen colchón.

Adriana is a host who is really kind and warm-hearted. And I was very satistifed with the atmosphere of this house and neighborhood that are quiet, clean, and safe. Especially, the location is perfect to travel to anywhere of Buenos Aires, through Subte Linea B and various colectivos within just same block of the street.
