Silvia's apartment is located one block from one of the most important avenues in the city: Corrientes Avenue. There you can find all kinds of businesses, banks, restaurants, cafes, laundromats, bus and subway stops, etc. In turn, in the area is the Abasto Shopping Mall, an ideal place to shop.
Silvia tells us more about her house: "The apartment is large and was designed to accommodate a large family, but nowadays the children already live alone. I am a very cordial and active person. I have a good living room, very comfortable, there is wifi throughout the house, the house has the paintings I painted and family memories of a lifetime. I think it has a lot of vibe... The guests I have received have always left very happy and to this day we are still in touch!"
Almagro is a nice and traditional mostly middle-class neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
It features strong commercial activity along its avenues, and has a high population density due to the many high-rise buildings erected along the railway line.
The National Technological University, one the most important public universities in the country specializing in engineering and exact sciences, is located in this neighbourhood.
Although many music and dance venues cater to all tastes, Almagro is a stronghold of tango. During his last years, composer and bandleader Osvaldo Pugliese relocated to Almagro and oversaw the creation of the Casa del Tango (Tango House) complex on Guardia Vieja street.
Among Almagro's residents of note were boxer Luis Angel Firpo, poet Alfonsina Storni, and physician and politician Juan B. Justo.
