The house is located in a quiet area of san Telmo, very close to the gastronomic area of caseros, to the beautiful parque Lezama and to the very connected station Constitución.
San Telmo is an area that includes some of the oldest parts of the city and it is one of Buenos Aires' most traditional neighborhoods. It was originally inhabited by members of the Argentine high society, but it was abandoned in 1871 due to the yellow fever outbreak and some of its beautiful mansions were transformed into the famous conventillos (tenements). Nowadays, San Telmo stands out for its antique and avant-garde, vintage shops, its tango culture, its restaurants with unique styles, its squares and narrow cobblestone streets, where many visitors choose to rent rooms. One of the favourite touristic place is Plaza Dorrego, where there is a famous antiques fairing, shops and tango shows on week-ends.
