Núñez is a neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It is on the northern edge of the city on the banks of the Rio de la Plata. The area is quite built-up with apartments and much commercial activity, especially along Cabildo Av. and Del Libertador Av. It has also a nice residential area with houses and HP with gardens. There are two important squares: Plaza Balcarce and Plaza Félix Lima. Between Del Libertador Av. and the shore, there are large areas of open space, where you can find sports clubs and recreational areas.
Sandro tells us about the neighborhood: "It´s a quiet area, with police surveillance every two blocks. It is a more residential area near Del Libertador Av. and more commercial near Cabildo Av. You can find more than 100 bus lines less than two blocks away and two train stations no more than three blocks away. The subway is 15 blocks away and Dot Shopping is seven blocks away."
