On this avenue you will find all kinds of shops, cafés, newspaper stands and laundries. Also the famous Recoleta Cementary, Buenos Aires Design and Emilio Mitre Square are located in this lovely avenue.
Recoleta is a downtown residential neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It is an area of great historical and architectural interest.
It´s french architecture, big green parks, elegant bars and restaurants, make Recoleta of the most charming and expensive areas in the city.
The Recoleta Cementary it´s an important tourist destination and cultural center.
Facing the cementary there´s Plaza Francia. An important park that host every weekend a famous street fair.
There you can also find Buenos Aires Design, commercial center dedicated exclusively to décor and design. Home as well of the Hard Rock Café.
The neighbourhood also has plenty of cultural spaces such as: Centro Cultural Recoleta,Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, National Library, Palais de Glas, among others.
