Do you need help finding a room (in shared apartments or homestays) in Buenos Aires?

Here are some tips that will help you as you search for your next room in Buenos Aires.

Private Bathrooms. Many of our rooms have private bathrooms ensuite (inside the actual room) and others have a bathroom outside of the room exclusively for the use of our guests.
Spare Rooms Buenos Aires Tip: A private bathroom is a good option if you want complete privacy.
Spanish. If you are coming to Buenos Aires to learn or improve your Spanish it is probably best not to live with other foreigners.
Spare Rooms Buenos Aires Tip: Immersion is the best way to improve your Spanish; Daily life with native Spanish speakers will force you to listen to and speak Spanish every day.
Family Houses. Don’t think of complete families when you hear us mention this term. Generally Family Houses are made up of couples or individuals who rent empty rooms in their homes.
Beds. Most spare rooms have single beds, finding a room with a double bed is difficult in Buenos Aires. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a room with a double bed.
Air Conditioning. Most of the rooms we rent do not include air conditioning.
Internet. Wi-Fi internet connections can be found in more and more houses every day.
Public Transport. While searching for a room, make sure that there is easy access to the public transport (Subway, Bus or Train) you will be using daily.
No Smoking. In the majority of the apartments we work with, smoking is not allowed inside, only on the balcony, terrace or patio.

Prioritize
We suggest that you set priorities while searching for a room. An easy way to do this is by making a list of the things that are most important to you when it comes time to choose where to live.

What are your Priorities?

Learning or improving your Spanish Level.
Experiencing the local culture by living with Argentines.
Closeness to your university or place of work.
A nice, quiet place to study.
Lots of Green Spaces.
Easy access to public transportation.
